General Elections are Needed!   Register To Vote Now!

Picture
The Bahamas Parliamentary Registration Department under the leadership of the Parliamentary Commissioner Mr Sherlyn Hall has launch a Registration drive to seek the registration of all eligible voters for the new Voter's Registrar for the upcoming General Elections.   All Bahamian citizens are asked to make urgent plans to attend one of the Registration sites to Register to Vote.

The Bahamas Constitution Party has launched its own Voter Registration drive both online and on the ground, to invite persons to Register to Vote.  The Servant Leader, the Administrative Chairman and  the Trustee of the BCP was out early to register at the Parliamentary Registration Department in the first weeks of the drive.  We are leading by example, by making ourselves available, long before asking the public to get register to vote. Several, if not all of the leadership of the BCP have already registered to Vote.

BCP Sixteenth (16th)  Anniversary will be Celebrated Like It Began .....

The Bahamas Constitution Party  will celebrate  its  sixteenth (16th)  anniversary,  just as it started 16 years ago...In Church.  The BCP Leadership Council will spend the weekend worshiping at several houses of worship, giving God thanks for 16 years of consistent service to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

On May 14th, 1999, the Bahamas Constitution Party was officially launched.  A Thanksgiving Service was held to announce the inception and the official launch to the nation.   The Host Church was Golden Gates Assemblies World Outreach Ministries on Carmichael Road.  The Senior Pastor, Dr  Ros L. Davis was our gracious host, who welcomed us to his beautiful edifice and his solemn pulpit.  It was a powerful service, with the most anointed rendition of the Bahamas' National Anthem, 'March on Bahamaland'  that was ever sang, rendered by Minister Terez Davis-Nixon.

The guest speaker was Dr. C. Clifford Smith, whose sermon riveted through the hearts of the attendees that evening, and became the inspiration for Servant Leader Ali McIntosh for many years, as she continued to plan and research information for the rebirth of the Bahamian nation.

The sermon that night was taken from II Samuel 23: verses 1-8, which provided the basis for the message of righteous governance in the nation,  "He who Rule over Men must be just, ruling in the fear of God."

Pastor Peter Joseph                                  Dr. C. Clifford & Elder Judy Smith                      Bishop Ros Davis

Therefore,  this weekend we hope to reenact the special elements of the service, as we take a trip down memory lane. You are welcome to join us.    This is our busy Itinerary for the weekend when we will join in worship with the church services listed below.  (Picture Inset..  Host Pastors for BCP Leadership Council Visitations)
